Windstream COVID Mandate Effects Bargaining Report #2
We met with the Company, November 15, 2021, for members of all bargaining units at Windstream, regarding the recently announced COVID Vaccine mandate. The Company has provided data requested by the Union and, upon review of that information, the Union has made a counter offer utilizing existing contractual language.
The Union had dialog with the Company about the recent U.S. Appeals Court's decision regarding the executive order. Additionally, there was discussion over employment status during the various provisions of the policy.
The Company is currently reviewing the Union counter offer and we plan to meet again tomorrow.
In Unity,
Mary Jo Reilly, CWA Staff Representative
Brian Sawyer, President, CWA Local 3682
