Final Bargaining Report

Your 2017 CWA District 3 Bargaining Team met with the Company in a marathon bargaining session that ended at nearly 12:00 am last night and started at 08:30 amthis morning to discuss the Union and Company proposals and bargaining over offers and packages. We are proud to announce that we have reached a Tentative Agreement Between CWA Locals 3683 Matthews N.C. and 3716 in Tryon N.C. and Windstream Carolina, LLC. Listed below are the gains that were added to your 3 year contract.

 

Gains

· 2% wage Increase in years 1, 2, and 3

· Added 50% concession on Windstream Products Services

· Modified Vacation allotment 3wks @ 5 yrs. , 4wks @ 13 yrs.

5 wks @ 25 yrs.

· Modified language in Article 14 Section 9 Struck the word “Consecutive” regarding rest period

· Added language to Article 11 Section 1 “the company will notify the Local President 3 days prior before job vacancies are posted on (RECS)

 

Losses

· None

 

The Bargaining team Unanimously recommends the ratification of this contract
