The committee met with the company yesterday and each side gave opening statements. The company talked about the changes in the communications industry and the amount of competition in the broadband sector. The union insisted that the company was profitable because of the work of our members and they deserved their fair share. Proposals were passed by each side and the session was recessed until Tuesday.
