2015 CWA YP Bargaining Report # 9
The Bargaining Committee began the day discussing Union Proposal #5 which would allow new hires to accrue Personal Paid Time (PPT) beginning on the first day of employment at the rate of 1.45 hours per pay period.
The Company responded with their proposal to switch everyone to a Personal Time Off (PTO) program.
The Bargaining Committee spent the remainder of the day examining the Company’s’ proposed sales compensation plan. On the surface the plan has merit however there are a few things that require further explanation and we are scheduled to continue these discussions at our next meeting.
The next scheduled meeting is Wednesday December 2, 2015.
