CWA/ATT SE Bargaining Report #8

Your bargaining team presented numerous proposals to the Company today, as we continue to address the issues presented by our members. We have now asked for specific improvements in working conditions, benefits, and wages. Included in those were proposals to address the surplus process for all employees. We know this is important, since the Company has declared over 1,000 of our members surplus since the beginning of the year.
Our brothers and sisters in District 4 and Legacy T have been working without a contract for over a year. We hope to reach a tentative agreement prior to contract expiration on August 3rd, but we are prepared for a long fight, if necessary. Thank you to all the members who are participating in mobilization activities across the district.
