2015 CWA ATT SE Bargaining Report #28
Your bargaining team had several meetings with the company today. We proposed a fair benefit package for all employees, including retirees. The company seemed taken aback that we asked them to consider bringing premiums down. We explained that we expect our healthcare and benefits to be just as important as corporate profits.
We did make some small progress towards an agreement today, due mainly to your continued mobilization. With less than 110 hours left on the clock until expiration, we need an ever tightening squeeze in order to push this nefarious corporation into moral submission.
Make no mistake, we expect and deserve an on-time agreement, however, we would be foolish not to make contingency plans. Your locals will share these plans with members as the details become available. Make plans now.
Unequivocally: in a way that is clear and unambiguous, leaving no doubt
