AT&T Southeast Bargaining Report #28
Our bargaining team is scheduled to meet with the company this afternoon. Yesterday evening, we presented the company a comprehensive package that would move us closer to reaching an agreement. Thus far, our bargaining team has reached tentative agreements on certain provisions of the partnership educational assistance program, tuition aid, military service, and improvements to the Article 7 force adjustment process. We are still far apart on many of the important issues such as wages, benefits, and pensions. With less than 24 hours before contract expiration, we expect the company to move our direction because they know that our members are willing to do whatever it takes to gain the contract that they deserve.
