CWA D3 PR-AT&T MOBILITY BARGAINING REPORT #19

Dear sisters and brothers:
Your CWA Bargaining Team and the Company continue to talk with the hopes to achieve the collective bargain agreement that we all deserve and expect.  The dialogue has been productive, but we are still too far away to reach a Tentative Agreement.  We are also waiting for some important data that was requested weeks ago to the Company and that they have not responded.  That data is vital for us to keep working for our members and for CWA to craft more proposals that will help close the gap between the parties.  

Let's continue to demonstrate that LOCAL 3010 DOES NOT SURRENDER. Many thanks to those who continue to show management what solidarity looks like.  We are proud of our membership and their mobilization efforts and activities over the past few weeks specially the members in Yauco and Mayaguez that coordinated a rally with the goal of educating the public in the south and west corners of Puerto Rico about our struggles with AT&T.  We also appreciate the workers in the Guaynabo and Cupey Call Center that continue with the claps as a show of solidarity and the Network workers that have being present in all the rally and activities.  Finally, to those that are proudly wearing your pins, keep telling the company that this is SOLIDARITY IN ACTION!

We want to have a fair union contract with AT&T Mobility.  Working people deserve job security, fair wages, affordable healthcare, and retirement security.  We are Moving Forward Never Backwards! Pa’Lante Siempre!

Queridos hermanos y hermanas:

Su comité negociador y la compañía continúan conversando con la esperanza de lograr el convenio colectivo que todos merecemos y esperamos. El diálogo ha sido productivo, pero todavía estamos muy lejos de alcanzar un acuerdo tentativo para que la matrícula evalúe. También estamos esperando información necesaria que se solicitó hace semanas a la Compañía y que no han provisto. Esta información es vital para que podamos seguir trabajando para nuestros miembros y para que CWA elabore más propuestas que ayuden a cerrar la brecha entre las partes.

Continuemos demostrando que la LOCAL 3010 NO SE RINDE. Muchas gracias a los que continúan mostrando a la gerencia lo que significa la solidaridad. Estamos orgullosos de nuestra membresía y de sus esfuerzos y actividades de movilización durante las últimas semanas, especialmente los miembros de Yauco y Mayagüez que coordinaron por sí mismos manifestaciones con el objetivo de educar al público en las zonas sur y oeste de Puerto Rico sobre nuestra lucha con AT&T.  Además, apreciamos a los trabajadores en los Call Center de Guaynabo y Cupey que continúan con los aplausos como una muestra de solidaridad. También agradecemos a los trabajadores de Network quienes han estado presente en todas las movilizaciones. Finalmente, agradecemos aquellos que orgullosamente usan los pines y continúan diciéndole a la compañía que esto es ¡SOLIDARIDAD EN ACCION!

Queremos tener un contrato sindical justo con AT&T Mobility. Los trabajadores merecen seguridad laboral, salarios justos, atención médica asequible y seguridad de jubilación. ¡Pa'Lante Siempre!
