CWA D3 PR-AT&T MOBILITY BARGAINING REPORT #6

The Company and your CWA Bargaining Team met today. The Union did not pass any new proposals as we continue to wait for information requested in advance by the Union to the Company.  On the other hand, the Company has fourteen (14) open proposals in their court and we await responses.  The Company requested specific examples of the discipline abuse, grievances delays and other issues that justified our proposals.  We have been diligent in our responses but are still waiting for concrete solutions and answers from AT&T.

The Company submitted new proposals to Article 6, Management Rights; Article 14, Force Adjustment; Article 16, Safety; Article 17, Company-Union Relationship; Article 11, Seniority and Article 24, Waiver of Further Bargaining.  All of them, looking to carry over the current language with no real change.  The company also submitted counterproposals on Article 9, Arbitration and rejected the Union’s proposal on a new LOA on Mandatory Meetings and LOA Call Center Percentage Guarantee, an agreement that focuses on Job Security.  

The Union also demanded more examples that justified the Company’s unscrupulous proposals that are aimed to take benefits away from our members.  Some of them, are just to mirror the other mobility agreements with no real improvement or benefits for our members!

We appreciate all the support and the solidarity our members has shown today.  THE MEMBERSHIP WANTS A FAIR CONTRACT AND ARE READY FOR TO STRIKE. A STRONG MAJORITY APPROVED A STRIKE VOTE AND AT&T MUST SIT AND BARGAIN NOW.

Let the company know, loud and clear that NOT TAKE BACK We are moving forward NEVER backwards. We are AT&T 2020! Pa'Lante Siempre!

Queridos hermanos y hermanas:

La Compañía y su Equipo de Negociación de CWA se reunieron hoy.  La Union no presentó propuestas pues continuamos en espera por información solicitada a la Compañía con antelación por la Union.  Por otra parte, la compañía tiene (14) propuestas abiertas en su poder y esperamos por sus repuestas a las mismas.  La Compañía requirió ejemplos específicos sobre documentaciones abusivas y querellas dilatadas entre otras situaciones que justifican nuestras propuestas. Hemos sido diligentes en nuestras respuestas y aún estamos en espera de soluciones concretas y respuestas de AT&T a toda la evidencia presentada.

Por otra parte, la Compañía presentó nuevas propuestas al Artículo 6, Managment Rigths; Artículo 14, Force Adjustment; Artículo 16, Safety; Articulo 17, Company-Union Relationship; Artículo 11, Seniority y Artículo 24, Waiver Of Further Bargaining. La compañía también sometion una contrapropuesta sobre el Artículo 9, Arbitration y rechzazo la propuesta a la nueva carta de acuerdo LOA 11, Mandatory Meetings y LOA Call Center Percentage Guarantee.  Este último, se enfoca en la seguridad de empleo para nuestros centros de llamadas.

La Union, también demandó ejemplos que justificaran las inescrupulosas propuestas que solo tienen la intención de despojar de beneficios a nuestra membresía. Algunas de ellas, solo para compararnos con otros convenios colectivos sin mejoras ni soluciones a nuestras exigencias y para nuestros miembros. 

¡Apreciamos todo el apoyo y la solidaridad que han mostrado cada uno de nuestros miembros hoy con su voto de huelga!  Quedó demostrado: LA MEMBRECIA QUIERE UN CONVENIO JUSTO Y ESTAN LISTOS PARA LA HUELGA. UNA CONTUNDENTE MAYORIA APROBO UN VOTO DE HUELGA Y AT&T DEBE SENTARSE A NEGOCIAR YA.
