2015 CWA YP Bargaining Report #4
Your Bargaining Committee met with the Company today and again asked the Company for a compensation plan for 2016 and was informed again that the plan is not ready to be presented.
Your Bargaining Committee informed the Company that we were not interested in discussing changes to the double time wage, the normal length of a tour as well as the definition of a “normal” work week. Additionally, we discussed several of the Company’s proposals that were considered to be regressive and not in the best interest of our Members.
The Chief Negotiator for the Company, Keith Halpern will not be available during the week of August 3, 2015 so your Bargaining Committee and the Company have signed an Extension Agreement to continue under the current Collective Bargaining Agreement through September 18, 2015.
We have requested additional data on a number of the Company’s proposals
The next meeting with the Company is scheduled for August 10th 2015.
