YP Southeast Publishing and Advertising Bargaining Report #5
The Union and the Company met on Friday July 27th & Monday 7/30. The majority of the session was spent discussing details surrounding the healthcare and pension proposals presented by the Company. The Union made various data requests regarding anticipated cost savings and the effect of these proposals on the employees.
DASR average was also discussed and the Union will continue to discuss alternatives to the current average calculation process.
The Company requested examples of some of the Unions market related proposals and we are working on that.
The Company and Union will meet again this week to continue discussing the outstanding proposals.
