2015 CWA ATT SE Bargaining Report #57

Your bargaining team has continued to meet with AT&T and among ourselves since our Saturday report.

We tentatively agreed to two more items, a pay process to handle an area where it was difficult to hire Wire Techs, and  a voluntary  upgrade for Service Reps who wished to become Sales Associates.

This brings the total of issues tentatively agreed to up to eighteen.  We are preparing to counter the latest benefit proposal and have still not received a wage offer.

To reiterate our earlier reports, we have turned back company attempts to decimate Article 14 contracting out of work language and their gluttonous attempts to remove the night differential language along with other retrogression.

We will not go backwards nor will we rush hastily forward and accept company proposals without understanding their impact on our membership.

There is no doubt that we are frustrated, as you are, with this pace.  However, there is no doubt that this committee believes that our mission is to obtain the best contract for you and your future.
