Effects Bargaining Report COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate- Frontier
CWA has continued to meet with Frontier to bargain over the effects the Company’s planned COVID-19 vaccine mandate will have on our members.
We are continuing our review of information provided by Frontier to determine if their proposed mandate is fully required under the law.
As mentioned in our previous bargaining report, Frontier started requesting that employees submit their vaccination status. Earlier today, Frontier sent another email to employees stating that they must confirm their vaccination status and upload their vaccination card. This email was not correct. Frontier will send another email to employees to clarify that they “are asking union employees to confirm vaccination status”.
Although CWA does not object to Frontier asking for this information, we wanted to let you know that it is not mandatory for the unionized workforce at this time.
The parties will continue to meet, as needed.
We will continue to provide updates regarding any developments.
