2015 CWA ATT SE BARGAINING REPORT #8

Your team met with the Company today at the bargaining table. The Company proposed removing contract language in Article 12 regarding future requests. They were very loquacious around the many improvements we have proposed thus far.

Our bargaining team proposed to increase all B and C wage zones, an improvement in the differential payment to multilingual employees who use their skills and an increase in travel allowances. We also proposed the addition of an extra holiday recognizing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The team recognizes the importance of those that voluntarily serve in our Armed Forces; we proposed pay and healthcare protection for those employees who are called to active duty.

Our intent is to continue to present a model that is favorable to those whom we are honored to represent. Remember to wear red/orange tomorrow. Thank you for continuing to remain vocal in your workplace. We will caucus tomorrow to consider the Company’s proposals and will resume bargaining at the main table on Wednesday.  Have a safe and happy Independence Day!
