AJC Pro & Con - Increasing fees on skilled-worker visas
Vice President Judy Dennis and Teri Simmons, Director of Arnall Golden Gregory's International were asked the following question for the Pro & Con section of the Atlanta Journal Constitution: Congress is considering legislation that would require companies with more than half of their U.S. workers employed under H-1B or L-1 visas to pay thousands of dollars per worker in new fees. Should the federal government increase fees for companies with a majority of U.S. employees working under skilled-workers visas? Vice President Dennis spoke in favor of this legislation, while Ms. Simmons spoke against it.
