AT&T Southeast Bargaining Report #7

The Union and Company exchanged additional proposals today. We have presented proposals on lowering the amount of forced overtime, higher pay when working in other cities, an improved surplus process, and more flexibility in bargained time off. This highly profitable company advised us that they have no appetite to absorb any additional costs generated by some of our proposals.  They even went as far as offering many retrogressive proposals, intended to strip many of your current benefits and work rules. Continue the mobilization activity to show the company that you are ready and willing to do what is necessary to achieve the contract you deserve. This company needs to be reminded that without all of us it would not be the corporate giant it has become. Our members are the ones providing the customer service that keeps the profits pouring in.  MOBILIZE, MOBILIZE, MOBILIZE.
