ATT SE Bargaining Update - 11/1/2012
The Union proposed to upgrade all OPT’s as well as ST’s. Since the company refused to incur any additional expense as a result of an upgrade, the Union proposed to create a wage scale 31 upgrading the two titles to the same level. This proposal would increase all ST and OPT at top wage by approximately $40 per week with an additional $27 per week for the general wage increase. This proposal will eliminate ST or OPT ability to bump FT’s or DT’s while keeping OPT’s and ST’s bumping rights exactly as they are in the current agreement.
This issue has been discussed at length over the past several weeks. We are currently waiting to see if the company will agree to this proposal.
