Bargaining Report 10-31-2012
The company and the Union have tentatively agreed to provide a $1323 lump sum payout in lieu of a General Wage increase in the first year to Premise Techs who are qualified upon ratification.
We TA’d an agreement to allow Premise Techs to bid on core jobs after 30 months in the Premise Tech title. This will make many Premise Techs eligible immediately to bid on core job openings.
We also TA’d an agreement that will allow surplused Service Techs and Outside Plant Techs to claim Wire Tech vacancies without meeting attendance and performance qualifiers. Be aware that no TA will be in effect until a full agreement is reached.
