Centurylink Bargaining Update #1

Over the last few days, the Company and Union have met and passed many proposals. We have made positive progress reaching tentative agreements on several items. While both sides continue to bargain in good faith, we are still a long way apart. The union has passed multiple proposals that will raise our members standard of living. Unfortunately, there is a severe imbalance with the amount of financially retrogressive company proposals.  The Company’s cost cutting proposals could severely impact our members and their families. We plan to meet with the Company again tomorrow. Please continue to mobilize and support your bargaining team.
