CWA D3 PR-AT&T MOBILITY BARGAINING REPORT #3

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The Company and your Bargaining Team met today one session in the morning and another in the afternoon.  The Union presented proposals on Article 10, No Strike No Lockout; Article 13, Work Assignments; Letter of Agreement (LOA) 3, Call Quality Observation; LOA 6, Timely Discipline; LOA, National Transfer Plan; LOA, Mandatory Meetings; and two new letters of agreement on New Employee Orientation and MI60 Duties.  The Company didn’t pass any new proposal but did reject the Union’s proposals on Article 18, Union Activities; Article 2, Recognition and Establishment of the Unit; LOA 1, Subcontracting; Article 11, Seniority; National Transfer Plan; LOA Mandatory Meetings and the letter of agreement on New Employee Orientation.  We reached several tentative agreements on Article 4, Agency Shop; Article 5, Deduction of Union Dues and Article 10, No Strike No Lockout.
The Union is waiting on key Company responses to our requests for information that is necessary for the Union to evaluate the Company’s proposals and to work with other proposals for the Company.  We are scheduled to meet tomorrow, February 13.  So far the Union has presented 25 proposals addressing all the issues presented by our members in the surveys.  

Let the Company hear it loud and clear, there will be NO TAKE BACKS.  We are Moving Forward Never Backwards, We are AT&T 2020! Pa’Lante Siempre!

Estimados hermanas y hermanos:

La Compañía y su Comité Negociador se reunió hoy en dos sesiones, una en la mañana y otra en la tarde para continuar las negociaciones colectivas.  La Unión presentó propuestas sobre el Artículo 10, No Strike No Lockout ; Articulo 13, Work Assignments; LOA (Carta de Acuerdo) 3, Call Quality Observation; LOA 6, Timely Discipline; LOA, National Transfer Plan;  LOA, Mandatory Meetings; y dos nuevas cartas de acuerdo una sobre Orientación de Nuevos Empleados y otra sobre las funciones de MI60.  La compañía no pasó ninguna nueva propuesta, sin embargo rechazó las propuestas de la Unión sobre los siguientes artículos: Artículo 18, Union Activities; Artículo 2, Recognition and Establishment of the Unit; LOA 1, Subcontracting; Article 11, Seniority; National Transfer Plan; LOA Mandatory Meetings y la carta de acuerdo sobre Orientación de Nuevos Empleados.  La compañía ofreció poca o ninguna explicación a sus rechazos.  A su vez, se lograron acuerdos tentativos en los siguientes Artículo 4, Agency Shop; Artículo 5, Deduction of Union Dues and Artículo 10, No Strike No Lockout.
La Unión está a la espera de mucha data e información que se ha solicitado para poder analizar las propuestas presentadas por AT&T y poder preparar otras propuestas para atender las situaciones de nuestros miembros.   La próxima sesión de negociación está pautada para mañana miércoles 13 de febrero.  Hasta ahora la Unión ha presentado 25 propuestas que buscan atender las situaciones presentadas por la membresía en las encuestas recibidas. 
Déjale saber a la compañía, alto y claro que NO ACEPTAREMOS CONSESIONES.  Estamos moviéndonos hacia adelante nunca hacia atrás.  ¡Somos AT&T 2020! ¡Pa’Lante Siempre!
