CWA Mobility Bargaining Report #8
DISTRICT 3 MOBILITY BARGAINING COMMITTEE
Day 8 Bargaining Report – February 6, 2018
The committee met for an extended time today to discuss and prepare counter proposals on absences, company-union relationship, call and sales floor observations, and hours of work. With better benefits and protection from absences caused by common illnesses being priority issues for our membership, the committee believed it was vital to hold a conference call with the company in an effort to understand the purpose of their degenerating benefits proposal. We understand what is most important to our members and we will continue to fight for what you want! As the contract nears expiration, it is crucial that we negotiate a fair and equitable contract for our members. We cannot do that without your support. YOUR gains are OUR gains. Continue to mobilize! The company needs to hear our voices loud and clear; WE WON’T BACK DOWN!!
Thanks to everyone who participated in the mobilization activity today! There will be many more this week! If you need information on specific activities, please contact a mobilization coordinator. We’re in this together, and it’s up to each one of us to show the company that #WEWONTBACKDOWN!!!!
In solidarity,
