CWA and IUE-CWA come together for a common cause

IUE -CWA Local 83761 put on a political event inviting some of the CWA endorsed candidates to their union hall for a meet and greet with their members as well as others in the community. The event was hosted by Local 83761 COPE coordinator Steve Wimsatt who did an excellent job at introducing the candidates, giving bio's, as well as personal experiences he encountered with the candidates. IUE - CWA Local 83761 President Jerry Carney explained to audience the importance of giving COPE dollars and how Congressman John Yarmuth was instrumental in saving one plant in their Local as well as creating over 800 new jobs in Louisville, KY for their local.

John Yarmuth - Current Congressman of Kentucky's 3rd District running for re-election
Jack Conway - Current Attorney General and Candidate for United States Senate
Marty Myer - Candidate for KY State Senate in the 38th District
Larry Clark - Speaker Pro Tem, House District 46 running for re-election
