January 2019 Newsletter #12
News from CWA Local 3181
We are pleased to say that CWA Local 3181 over the past year has signed up over 300 new members thanks to our crack team of outstanding organizers in Palm Beach County, St. Lucie County School District and the Village of Tequesta.
CWA Local 3181 has about 25 trained Internal Organizers spread throughout the 3 units we represent. This could not have been accomplished without the help of the District 3 Vice President, Richard Honeycutt, the Organizers in District 3, Manuel Hartman, CWA Organizing Coordinator, Roy Diaz, Brooks Sunkett, Vice President Public & Health Care Unit, and many others.
CWA Local 3181 will continue this effort. We have found that internal organizing never ends, and should never end. Internal organizing is and always will be to organize, organize, organize...

We have a number of events scheduled to raise money for the Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Please check our website for a calendar of events which includes a bus trip to Biloxi MS, our annual Golf Tournament, Car & Bike Show, and much more.
Our Legislative Committee members will be lobbying this year to make sure our Legislators support bills that support working families. We welcome new members to get involved and join.
