NDCA Bargaining Report - July 18, 2013

The Union and Company met yesterday and discussed our members concerns about the CST and the data base inaccuracies. The Company committed to take these issues back to the department so that they would understand our members concerns.

The company then informed the Union that it was rejecting the two proposals presented by the union on Monday. (Wages and Cost Share on Benefits)

The Company restated their previous position that the wage increases were fair and equitable and that the cost share on benefits were the same as all AT&T entities.

The Union reminded the Company that we had already let them know these proposals were not in our members best interest and that we need to increase the wages and lessen the impact of the benefits cost share.

Bargaining was recessed with each party stating they were willing to explore other options to reach an agreement.
