Windstream-Kentucky Contract Ratified (Locals 3371 & 3372)
Windstream-Kentucky members ratified their contract, which affects approximately 250 members.
It was a difficult round of bargaining with demands from Windstream that would have frozen the pensions of many current employees and greatly increased the amount members pay for medical care.
“The bargaining team made it very clear to Windstream that we would accept nothing less than a fair and just contract” stated Chairperson Billy O’Dell, and they worked relentlessly to turn back the retrogressive Company demands. We are thankful for the hard work of the Bargaining Committee, the staff and the Locals who stepped up to support the team and build our mobilization activities. Collectively, we were able to achieve an agreement that preserves our benefits and maintains good wages.
Thanks again to the 2015 Bargaining Team for a job well done!
