            Durante el día de ayer, 7 de marzo de 2023, la Compañía y su Comité Negociador se reunieron nuevamente. Hemos demostrado el compromiso de obtener un Convenio Justo para ambas partes. La Local 3010 y su Comité Negociador han demostrado y reiterado la disponibilidad de negociar los cinco días, y de ser necesario hasta dos veces por día. 

Por nuestra parte, el Comité presentó cuatro nuevas propuestas que atienden o hacen referencia a los Artículos 13, 14, 21 y LOA 12 de nuestro actual Convenio Colectivo, para un total de veinticuatro propuestas por parte de su Comité. La Compañía, por su parte, presenta dos contrapropuestas las cuales el Comité estará evaluando. 

Hemos recibido un comunicado de parte de Liberty confirmando los cargos sometidos por la Unión ante la Junta Nacional de Relaciones Laborales. Como producto de la movilización, acciones y cargos sometidos, hemos logrado que la Compañía se siente a negociar en la mesa tres días en semana, contrario a los dos días que habían propuesto inicialmente. En este mensaje no te cuentan cómo consistentemente han denegado la paga y la consideración del tiempo trabajado para su Comité durante este proceso de negociación. 

Su Comité Negociador y la CWA Local 3010 solo buscan obtener resultados favorables, pues llevamos mucho tiempo trabajando bajo una interpretación funesta a nuestro actual Convenio Colectivo. No podemos darle largas al asunto de las métricas injustas y disciplinas punitivas que opacan el desempeño de TUS labores. 

Demostremos en Unidad y Hermandad que la Local 3010 está para quedarse. Continuemos con la movilización, correos electrónicos, accesorios rojos, aplausos en las áreas de trabajo y los sellos en los vehículos.

Bargaining Report #10

            Yesterday, March 7th, the Company met with your Bargaining Committee again. We have demonstrated our commitment to obtain a fair contract for both parties. Local 3010 and your Bargaining Committee have demonstrated and reiterated the availability to sit down to negotiate the five days, and if necessary, even twice per day.

From our part, the Committee presented four new proposals that make reference to Articles 13, 14, 21 and LOA 12, from our current Bargaining Agreement, for a total of twenty four proposals from the Union. The company, for their part, submitted two counter proposals which are being carefully evaluated by the Committee. 

We have received a communication from Liberty confirming the charges submitted by the Union to the National Labor Relations Board. As a result of the mobilization, actions and charges, we have achieved for the Company to sit down at the Bargaining Table three days, instead of the two days they initially proposed. In this message, they don’t tell you how they have constantly declined to compensate for the time used for bargaining and consider it as worked-time for your Bargaining Committee members.

            Your Bargaining Committee and the CWA Local 3010 want to obtain favorable results because we have been working for a long time under a baleful interpretation of our current Bargaining Agreement. We cannot keep ignoring the unfair metrics, quotas and punitive disciplines that overshadow YOUR work. 

            Let’s demonstrate, in Unity, that Local 3010 is here to stay. Continue with the mobilization, sending emails, using your red accessories, applauding in your work areas and using the stickers in vehicles.
