CWA D3 PR-AT&T MOBILITY BARGAINING REPORT #14

Dear sisters and brothers:

The Company and your CWA Bargaining Team met today. The Union rejected the Company’s Proposal Package that continues to be a mockery to our members, who deserve greater respect from the Company who insists on presenting us with an insolent and anachronistic proposal that only try to snatch the benefits away from our membership.

The Union presented a new comprehensive package of proposals that seek to cover the needs of our members and maintain the benefits acquired, such as, pension, hours worked, sick days, vacations, among others. We have shown our willingness to have a fair Agreement for our membership by sending this new package. But the Company continues to delay the bargaining process.

 
We appreciate all the support and solidarity shown by each of our members! Especially our colleagues who took a few hours of their precious time for a mobilization held today at the entrance of Coco Beach Golf & Country Club during the PR Open PGA Golf Tour.  An example of how AT&T is happy to sponsor a luxurious event but not to help and support its employees. Our picket line was loud and clear, WE REJECT THE COMPANY’S ACTIONS and then showed solidarity with the Bargaining Team.

We are moving forward NEVER backwards. We are AT&T 2020! Pa'Lante Siempre!

We are schedule to meet tomorrow Monday February 25, 2019 in the afternoon while we gave some time to the Company to review and response to our proposal.

Queridos hermanas y hermanos:

La Compañía y su Comité Negociador de la CWA se reunieron durante el día de hoy. La Union rechazó el paquete de propuestas de la Compañía que continúa siendo una burla a nuestros miembros, los cuales merecen un mayor respeto.  La Compañía insiste en presentarnos insolentes y anacrónicas propuestas que solo intentan despojar los beneficios de nuestra membrecía.

La Union presentó un nuevo paquete comprensivo de propuestas que buscan cubrir las exigencias de la membrecía y proteger los beneficios adquiridos, tales como, pensión, horas trabajadas, días por enfermedad, vacaciones entre otros. Hemos demostrado nuestra disposición a tener un acuerdo justo para nuestra membrecía. Hasta el día de hoy, la Compañía sigue dilatando el proceso. 

 
¡Apreciamos todo el apoyo y la solidaridad que han mostrado cada uno de nuestros miembros! Especialmente a nuestros compañeros que sacaron unas horas de su preciado tiempo para la manifestación realizada durante el día de hoy en la entrada de Coco Beach Golf & Country Club durante la actividad PR Open PGA Golf Tour.  Un lujoso evento auspiciado por AT&T, que evidencia la falta de compromiso con sus empleados pero sí con los altos ejecutivos.  En dicho evento, la membrecía formó una línea de piquete en rechazo a las acciones de tosquedad de la compañía y en solidaridad con su equipo de negociación.

¡Moviéndonos hacia adelante nunca hacia atrás ¡Somos AT&T 2020! ¡Pa’Lante Siempre! 

Estamos pautados reunirnos mañana lunes 25 de febrero de 2019 en la tarde, mientras le damos un tiempo a la compañía para responder a nuestras propuestas.
